About Alisha Sevigny

Alisha Sevigny holds a degree in Professional Writing and Sociology from the University of Victoria, is a film school graduate, former literary agent, yoga teacher and tarot reader. On a trip to Panama she fell in love with the country, culture, and their national emblem, the Golden Frog and was inspired to write her first Young Adult novel, KISSING FROGS.

Her second book, SUMMER CONSTELLATIONS is about a young woman fighting to save her family campground while trying not to fall in love, came out with KCP Loft (and Kate Egan, editor of The Hunger Games!). SUMMER CONSTELLATIONS was a CCBC Best Books for Teens pick and a North American finalist for NERFA* in the Young Adult category. (*National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award)

Born and raised in Kitimat, British Columbia, Alisha has always had a strong connection to the environment and conservationist spirit.

Alisha has also always been passionate about Ancient Civilizations and her new middle-grade series SECRETS OF THE SANDS launches in 2020 with THE LOST SCROLL OF THE PHYSICIAN, followed by THE DESERT PRINCE. This is a thrilling series for any lover of Ancient Egypt, mystery and adventure, featuring REAL modern-day artifacts. Readers young and old will delight in this page-turning action novel that will make them feel like they stepped back in time.
